Ingredients list
- 1 bowl ragi flour
- 1 bowl jaggery powder(With same bowl)
- 20 ml water
- Half tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp ghee
- nuts
METHOD (Marua ke aate ki burfi)
First, grind the ragi grain into fine powder. Or go with the ragi flour. Now dry roast them on medium to high flame for 7 to 10 minutes. When you can smell the aroma of roasted flour, remove it from the heat. Take a pan. Add some jaggery and water.
You can use jaggery powder or grated jaggery. Use the same bowl for measurement. Melt the jaggery on high flame. It takes 3 to 5 minutes. Do not add too much water. Then add cardamom and ghee. Mix well.
Add roasted ragi flour. Mix them well. After that, immediately pour the burfi mix on a greased tray. Prepare a greased tray first, then start cooking. Now, Sprinkle some nuts and cut them into pieces. Allow it to cool down completely. Ragi burfi is ready.
