INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar (use same cup)
  • 1/3rd cup of refined oil
  • 3 to 4 drops of vanilla
  • half tsp lemon zest
  • half cup of yogurt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/3rd tbsp baking soda
  • 2 and a half cup of refined flour/cake flour
  • 100 to 120 ml milk
  • lemon curd for filling
  • whipped cream

Lemon cake eggless recipe

First, make the sponge. Take a bowl. Add powdered sugar. Here, use the same cup for measurement. Then add oil, vanilla, and lemon zest. Mix it well.

Then add yogurt and mix it for 2 to 3 minutes. After that, add baking powder, soda, and salt. Then add flour. Mix it well. The batter has to be thick.

Then, add milk and make a smooth, flowing consistency cake batter. Take a greased cake tin. Add cake batter. Tin should be half filled.
