Rose Cream Panna Cotta Recipe

The top layer is made with cream and agar-agar, and the second layer is made with milk, rose syrup, sugar, and agar-agar. The last layer is made with water, sugar, rose syrup, and some agar-agar powder. You can also use coconut milk or cream in place of regular milk or cream. This three-layer rose cream panna cotta is very simple to make.  

What is agar-agar ?

If you are new to this ingredient then read it for more information. Agar-agar is a vegetarian and healthier substitute for gelatin processed from seaweeds which is vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO. Zero calories, no carbs, no sugar, and full of fiber.

It is free from starch, soy, corn, yeast, wheat, milk, egg, and preservatives. It absorbs glucose in the stomach, passes through the digestive system quickly, and inhibits the body from retaining and storing excess fat. It is ideally good to have it once a week. Here, I used agar-agar powder from the meron brand. you can get this product easily from amazon or Flipkart.

INGREDIENTS

For top layer

  • 60 ml fresh cream (amul fresh cream)
  • ½ tbsp suagr
  • ½ tsp agar agar powder

For the second layer

  • 60 ml milk/coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp agar agar powder
  • 2 tbsp rose syrup

For the last layer

  • 60 ml water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp agar agar powder
  • 3 to 4 tbsp rose syrup

How to make rose cream panna cotta?

For the last layer. Take a pot. Add water. Add sugar. Add agar-agar powder.

Then cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame or until the agar-agar is dissolved completely. Now add rose syrup into it. Mix well.

And pour this into a glass. Now leave it to set completely. You can keep this in the fridge.

After that, take a  pot. Add milk. You can also use coconut milk if you want. Add sugar. Add agar-agar powder. cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.

Now add some rose syrup. Stir it for some time to cool down the mix.

Then pour the second layer. Leave it to set.

For the top layer, take a  pot. Add cream, here you can also use coconut cream as well. Add some sugar and agar-agar. Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame. Then stir the mix to cool down. Now pour the top layer and allow it to set completely. When it is completely set. Rose cream panna cotta is ready to serve.
