How to serve orange panna cotta?
Serving panna cotta in a glass for every person is a good option because you don’t need to worry to release perfect panna cotta from its mold. You can also decorate the glass as you want, it looks more fancy and modern.
Fill half the glasses with a white layer which is made with milk, rice puree, cream, sugar, orange peels, and some agar-agar powder. Wait until sets. Take a bowl and pour some white mixture and place it in angle with the help of bowl and set like that. Then add orange jelly on top and set it in the fridge. You can also layer these as you like.

INGREDIENTS
For white layer
- 200 ml of milk
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoon rice puree
- 1 teaspoon agar agar
- 30 ml of cream
- 3 to 4 orange peels
For orange layer
- 100 ml of orange juice
- 1 and a half tablespoon sugar
- ¾ teaspoon agar agar powder
How to make white layer?
Take 10 grams of rice and soak it for 2 to 3 hours. Then make a puree of rice with some water. Instead of rice puree, you can also use cornflour. If you want to use cornflour then add cornflour with some water and pour it into the milk mixture and stir continuously. Do not add too much cornflour. First, add only 1 tablespoon.
Take a saucepan, add milk. Take room temperature or chilled milk.
Add agar agar powder. It helps to thicken up the mixture. Stir continuously.
Add orange peels. Trust me, this orange peels get your milk flavor on another level.
Cook on a medium flame for about 5 to 6 minutes. Then remove the orange peels from the milk.
Add rice puree and mix continuously on medium flame. About 2 minutes.
Stir continuously.
Then add sugar into it and cook for 2 minutes. You can also adjust the sweetness.
Now turn off the heat and leave it for 10 minutes then pour it into serving glass or in an orange shell. Leave it for an hour in the refrigerator.
How to make white layer?
Take some orange juice. Use sweet orange because sometimes tangy orange may turn bad in taste while cooking.
Add agar agar powder and mix well.
Stir continuously. Cook on medium flame for 4 minutes.
Then add sugar and mix well. Cook more 3 minutes.
Then turn off the heat and leave it for 15 minutes.
Now pour the orange puree on white layer and leave to set completely.
