So today’s recipe is something different from the regular one. It looks like a fancy chocolate dessert but it Is very easy to make. And I take some inspiration from different desserts and make my own chocolate pleasure. Yes, so the name of this dessert is CHOCOLATE PLEASURE. You can make this dessert on Christmas, for birthday parties, valentines week, or as an entremet. And it tastes delicious.

Chocolate Pleasure

Chocolate pleasure is my own creation. Yes I know, it is not the unique own or something extraordinary. And it is my first experiment to make a dessert like this. I try to make this dessert as simple as I can do. Hope you guys love this. In this chocolate pleasure, you get 5 layers. In the first layer, we make a dense chocolate cake. In the second layer, we make a chocolate almond praline. In the third layer, we add some whipped cream dollops. And the 4th layer, we make a chocolate sheet. And the last layer, we add some whipped cream, praline crunch, and some chocolate strips. In one bite of this dessert, you get dense chocolatey cake, crunch from almond praline, chocolate sheet, creaminess from the cream. You can also increase or decrease the size of this dessert as per your need. Let’s start the recipeā€¦



For chocolate cake

  • 1 egg
  • 3 to 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 to 3 drops of refined oil/flavorless oil
  • A pinch of salt
  • Ā½ tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp refined flour
  • 2 to 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp coffee shot
  • 2 to 3 tbsp chopped chocolates

For the chocolate almond praline

  • 3 to 4 large tbsp dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 15 to 20 almonds roasted
  • 5 to 6 tbsp sugar
  • 5 to 6 tbsp water

For chocolate sheet

  • Some dark compound chocolate(melted)
  • Some freshly whipped cream

How to make chocolate cake?

Take a bowl. Add eggs. Add 1 tbsp sugar at a time. Whip the eggs well until it turns white and foamy. Then add vanilla and oil. Mix well.

After that add flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder, and chopped chocolate. Mix it with light hands.

Now, take a tray or mold. You can use any rectangular mold. Add cake batter. Spread it well. Bake the cake for 10 to 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius.

After that remove the butter paper and leave it to cool down.

How to make praline?

Take a pan. Add almonds and dry roast them on medium to high flame. It takes 5 to 6 minutes. After that in the same pan, add sugar and water.

Mix well and cook them on low to medium flame. When it turns golden in color. Add roasted almonds. Mix well and turn off the heat. Grease any surface with some oil. Transfer the praline to this surface.

Leave it to cool down. After that, cut them into small pieces and grind them. But does not make a fine powder.

Now, take some dark chocolate. Add butter and melt it. Add 7 to 8 tbsp praline mix. Mix them well.

After that spread this praline mix over chocolate cake. Again leave it for 15 to 20 minutes in the fridge.

After that cut them into equal rectangles like this.

How to make chocolate sheet?

Take some dark compound melted chocolate. Take a plastic sheet. Spread the chocolate evenly. Do not make a thin sheet.

After that place, one cake over the sheet and cut them into slices.

Make 4 equal rectangular sheets. And keep this in the fridge to set.

Now take a plate. Place a cake. Take some whipped cream and decorate it like this. Now place a chocolate sheet. Remove the sheet very carefully from the plastic. Again add some whipped cream.

Garnish it with some chocolate strips and some praline crunch. You can also make these chocolate strips just like chocolate sheets. Make all of them like this. Chocolate pleasure is ready to grab.
