INGREDIENTS

For jelly

  • 250 ml water
  • 1 and a half tsp agar agar/gelatin
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 to 3 tbsp hot water
  • 2 tsp coffee
  • 1 tsp cocoa

For custard

  • 600 to 700 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 to 3 tbsp water and 1 and a half tbsp corn starch
  • 3 to 4 tbsp warm water
  • 2 tbsp coffee
  • 2 to 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup tapioca pearls

How to make jelly?

Take a bowl. Add hot water. Add coffee and cocoa. Mix well and set it aside.

Take a pan. Add water. Add agar agar. You can also use gelatin in place of agar agar. Mix well. Then turn on the flame. Cook them for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame. Stir well.

Then add sugar. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add coffee mixture. Mix well. Cook it for a minute o a high flame. Turn off the heat.

Take a plate. Pour the jelly mixture and leave it to set. When it is completely set, cut them into small cubes.

How to make Custard?

First, take some water and add corn starch. mix well.

Now take another bowl. add coffee and cocoa. add water and mix well. set it aside.

Now take a pan. Add some milk and boil the milk on a high flame.

After one boil, add sugar. Mix well. Then add chocolate and coffee mix. Mix well and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.

Now turn the flame on low. Add corn starch mix and continuously whisk the milk. Then turn the flame on high. Cook the custard fr 3 to 4 minutes.

After that turn off the heat. And leave it to cool down.

Now take a saucepan. Boil some water. After that add tapioca pearls. And cook them until it turns transparent.

It takes 25 to 30 minutes on medium to high flame. After that turn off the heat. Transfer the cooked sago into the cool water. Then remove it from water. Set them aside.

Now for assembling, take a glass or bowl. Add 2 to 3 tbsp sago.

Add 2 to 3 tbsp jelly. Then pour some thin and chilled custard.

Chocolate sago pudding is ready to serve.
