Fruit and yogurt smoothie | Grape lassi – Try this fruit and yogurt smoothie for this upcoming summer. This easy fruit smoothie calls for just three ingredients, yogurt, fruits, and sugar. You can also call them fruit lassi. Lassi is a flavored yogurt drink that is very popular in India. Lassi is made during summers and it is very cooling. The main difference between smoothie and lassi is smoothie is thick in consistency but lassi is thin. But sometimes lassi is also made thick in some places.

And it is so cooling and refreshing that this smoothie is best for the Ramadan evening meal. It is very nutritious because we added a lot of fruits and curd. You can also add your favorite fruits or seasonal fruits.

  • 2 cup yogurt
  • 2 to 3 tbsp black grape compote
  • 2 tbsp sugar/honey
  • Some fresh black grapes

How to make fruit and yogurt smoothie/ Lassi?

First, take a bowl, add curd and mix it. You can also use greek yogurt in place of plain curd.


Then add black grape compote. For this compote check out the recipe here BLACK GRAPE COMPOTE. It gives you flavor and color. But if you do not want to add then add fresh grapes.

Mix the compote well.

Then add sugar. You can also add honey in place of sugar.


Now pour the mixture in a container.

Add some fresh black grapes.


Then refrigerate it for 7 to 8 hours or overnight. After that cut it into pieces with the help of a knife.

Take a blender, add the frozen yogurt mix.

Blend it for 2 to 3 minutes. If you want thin lassi then you can add some milk or water. Otherwise, if you like thick smoothies then do not add anything. Here you do not need to add ice cubes.

Pour it in a glass and your thick smoothie/lassi is ready to beat the heat.
