Making a good eggless cake is always a challenge. But now you can easily achieve the soft and moist texture in your cake with this recipe. There are two secrets to this recipe. the first one is, to make sure to have a thick cake batter. But not too thick. And use baking soda and lemon juice. Because it gives a fluffy texture to the cake.

  • 5 to 6 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 5 to6  tbsp refined oil(flavorless oil)
  • 6 to 7 drops of vanilla
  • 4 tbsp of coffee and milk mixture
  • 5 to 6 tbsp of milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 7 to 9 tbsp refined flour
  • 4 to 5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Whipped cream for frosting

How to make an eggless chocolate cake?

First, grease your cake tin with some oil, flour, or baking paper. Set it aside.

Now take a bowl. Add powdered sugar. Add oil. Mix well. Then add vanilla.

Add coffee mix(for this take some warm milk, add 1tsp coffee. Mix well and leave it to cool down. Then use). Add milk. Mix well.

Now add flour. Add cocoa.

Add salt, baking powder, and soda.

Mix it with light hands. Do not over mix. The consistency of the batter has to be thick but not too thick. If it looks too thick add some milk and mix well. Now add lemon juice.

Mix well.

Pour the cake batter into greased tin.

Now you can bake them in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius. Or you can bake them without an oven. For this take a large pot. Add sand to the bottom of the pot. You can also add salt in place of sand. Preheat them for 10 minutes on medium flame before making the batter.

Now place the cake tin in the pot. Cover it and turn the flame on low. Bake them for 40 to 45 minutes. Check them after 30 minutes. And if it did not bake well, bake them for more.

When the toothpick comes out clean. Turn off the heat. And leave it to cool down.

Then cut them into 2 to 3 layers. The chocolate sponge cake is ready.

Now take a layer of cake. Add sugar syrup. Then decorate it with some whipped cream. Repeat the process and cover the cake with cream.

Pour some chocolate. Your eggless chocolate cake is ready to serve.
