Spicy Egg Curry Recipe | Dhaba Style Egg Curry Recipe | Learn how to make spicy dhaba style Egg Curry at home. Today, I am making a super spicy egg curry, and it is very simple to make at home. If you like that dhaba style gravy and flavor, try this recipe at home.

For making a dhaba style Curry, you need to cook the onions very well. Like you have to curse the onions while cooking. And these crushed onions give a well combined dhaba like gravy. After that, add some water and again cook them well. You have to cook the masala until it releases the oil from the sides. You can serve this egg curry with rice, roti, bread, naan, etc.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 40 to 50 ml mustard oil
  • whole spices(2 cinnemon sticks, 2 green cardamom, 2 black cardamom, 4 to 5 cloves, 1 tsp cumin)
  • 4 to 5 medium sized onions
  • 1 tbsp crushed ginger garlic
  • 4 garlic clove whole
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • half tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp cumin powder
  • half tbsp garam masala powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 4 to 5 dry red chilies
  • 100 to 150 ml water
  • 1 tbsp chicken masala powder
  • Some fresh coriander leaves

Dhaba-style Egg Curry

First, heat some oil. And for the eggs on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes. When it turns light golden, remove it from the oil.

In the same kadhai, add more oil and heat it. After that, add whole spices, sliced onions, and ginger garlic. Here, I am also using whole garlic cloves(like the dhaba style).

Add 3 to 4 garlic cloves. Cook the onions for 5 to 10 minutes on high flame. Then, add powdered spices, salt, turmeric, and dry red chilies. Mix well. Cook them for 5 to 8 minutes on low flame. After that, add 40 to 50 ml water. And cover it with lead. Cook the gravy for 10 minutes on low flame.

Then, turn the flame on high and cook the gravy. Crush the onions with the help of the spatula and cook the gravy for 15 to 20 minutes. Add some chicken masala powder. After that, add fried eggs and some water. Mix well and cover it. Cook the curry for 20 to 25 minutes on low flame.

After that, remove the lead and cook the curry for 3 to 4 minutes on high flame. Garnish it with some coriander leaves. Turn off the heat. Spicy Egg Curry is ready.
