Focaccia Bread Recipe

Foccacia Bread Recipe | Focaccia is an oven-baked Italian bread made with flour, and topped with some delicious toppings like olives, herbs, tomato, onions, carrots, etc. Learn how to make focaccia bread at home.

This bread is one of the easiest bread recipes. You can add toppings that you like the most. Here I used Capsicum, Carrots, Onions, Tomatoes, olives, jalapeños and Coriander leaves. So choose your favorite toppings and use them. Serve this focaccia bread with tea or coffee.

Snack Recipes


  • for bread : 250 grams of flour
  • 1 tbsp dry activated yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 to 4 tbsp oil
  • water as required
  • for toppings: Capsicum
  • Carrots
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Coriander leaves
  • olives
  • jalapeños
  • butter/olive oil



First, take some lukewarm milk. Add sugar and yeast. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then take some flour, salt, sugar, activated yeast, oil, and water. Knead a loss dough. Cover it and leave it for 1 to 2 hours to rise. Take a tray, and grease it with some oil or butter. Spread the dough. Again leave it for 30 minutes.

Then drizzle some butter or olive oil. With the help of your fingers make some ditches.

Then add toppings. Here you can give the tray to your kids to use their creativity. You can use this as a fun activity. Decorate this as you want.

Bake them for 25 to 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Focaccia bread is ready to serve.
