Ingredients

– Mushrooms 250 grams, cleaned and sliced

– Coriander leaves: 1 cup, chopped

– Mint leaves: 6 to 10 leaves (optional)

– Green chilies: 2-3, adjust to taste

– Ginger: 1-inch piece

– Garlic: 10 to 13 peices

– Onion: 1 large, finely chopped

– Yogurt: 3 to 5 tbsp

– Cashews: 10 to 14 peices

– Cream: 4 to 5 tablespoons

– Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon

– Salt to taste

– Oil or ghee: 2 to 4 tablespoons

Method

1. Prepare the Green Paste: – In a blender, combine the onions, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, and garlic, curd, and cashews. Blend into a smooth paste. Set aside.

2. Cook the gravy & Mushrooms: – Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. – Add the green paste, add salt, garma masala powder and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the raw smell goes away.

– Add the sliced mushrooms and mix well with the green masala. – Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and cooked through.

3. Finish the Dish: – Add cream. Mix well and cook for an additional minute. – Adjust salt and spices as needed.
